The Spine Is More Than A Structure
Most of us were taught to think about the spine mechanically.
It's the thing that keeps us upright. The thing that protects the spinal cord. The thing that hurts when we've lifted something incorrectly or spent too long sitting at a desk.
All of that is true.
But over the years, I've become interested in another way of looking at the spine.
As a map.
Not a map of anatomy. A map of experience.
When you move from the top of the spine to the bottom, you move through themes that seem remarkably human. Identity. Expression. Relationships. Safety. Power. Creativity. Survival. Whether you see these themes through psychology, personal development, energy work, or simply the stories we carry through life, they appear again and again.
That's what led me to create The Energetics of the Spine.
This course explores the relationship between the central nervous system, the spine, emotional experience, and the stories our bodies may be carrying long after an event has passed.
We begin with the foundations. The role of the nervous system. The relationship between the spine and the chakras. The different regions of the spinal column and the themes commonly associated with them. Then we gradually work our way down the spine itself, exploring what each area might have to teach us.
What I enjoy most about this work is that it doesn't require you to adopt a belief system.
You don't have to agree with every interpretation.
You don't have to memorise anything.
You simply need a willingness to become more curious about your own experience.
Throughout the course, I encourage people to replace judgment with observation.
Instead of asking, "What's wrong with me?"
We begin asking, "What is this trying to show me?"
That's a very different conversation.
The spine sits at the centre of the nervous system. It carries information between the brain and the body every second of every day. Whether you approach it from a biological, psychological, or energetic perspective, it is one of the most important structures you'll ever live with.
My hope is that by the end of this course you'll never look at your spine or yourself in quite the same way again.
